Murray River Paddlesteamers – Periodic Vessel Survey

Posted in Recent Projects by Admin 0

Echuca based Murray River Paddlesteamers recently engaged Maritime Survey Australia to conduct a survey on their vessels including the 104 year old PS Canberra.

Built in 1912, the PS Canberra runs four hour-long cruises per day and is one of the most traveled boats on the Murray river. Following twelve months of restoration during 2002-2003, the PS Canberra was converted from diesel back to a steam power, making her unique among vessels currently operating on the Murray River.

Maritime Survey Australia is proud to be involved in the continued preservation of these magnificent vessels.
