Owned and operated by Wildlife Coast Cruises, the ‘Kasey Lee’ is a 20 metre (65 foot) Eco-Tourism Catamaran, and a regular visitor to waters around Phillip Island, Seal Rock, French Island, Westernport Bay and Wilson’s Promontory.

Maritime Survey Australia recently met with Captain Brett Lacco and completed a periodic vessel survey for the Kasey Lee at Cowes, Port Philip Island, from where she is currently undertaking seal watching and twilight cruises. The seal watching cruise is a relaxing and educational two-hour cruise, taking passengers to Australia’s largest seal colony at Seal Rock and offers an up-close view of thousands of seals. During the twilight cruise, passengers are treated to a visit to the wreck of an Australian naval submarine and pampered with drinks and complimentary finger food as they watch the sun set during the leisurely cruise back to Cowes.

With many environmental and tourism accreditations, and more than 20 years’ experience, Wildlife Coast Cruises offers its passengers unforgettable experiences exploring Victoria’s beautiful coastline. Captain Lacco and crew are fully qualified in sea safety and first aid, and have a thorough knowledge of local wildlife, habitat and history, which is shared through running commentary during all cruises.

Wildlife Coast Cruises has many other cruises on offer, including whale and lunch cruises, cruises to Peninsula Markets, and Wilsons Promontory.

Recently, Wildlife Coast Cruises welcomed a new addition to their fleet – the ‘Brianna Lee’ sister ship to the ‘Kasey ‘Lee’ which will be based at Port Welshpool enabling Wildlife Coast Cruises to offer more frequent Prom cruises.

Led by owner and Managing Director, John Dickie and his highly experienced team, Wildlife Coast Cruises offers its passengers an Eco-tourism experience of a lifetime. To book your cruise, phone 1300 763 739 or visit www.wildlifecoastcruises.com.au.

Our Marine Surveyors are accredited with the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA), members of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA) and members of the certifying authority of the International Institute of Marine Surveying (IIMS).

We believe we have the most competitive rates offering the best value to Victorian commercial vessel operators. The benefits of using Maritime Survey Australia ensure that the vessel operator has to engage with only one company. Unlike many of our competitors, our Surveyors are experienced Marine Engineers, Masters and Naval Architects accredited for ALL categories including periodic electrical and communication meaning you do not need to engage with a third party to complete the survey.

The survey is carried out accurately interpreting standards and guidelines, and applying rules and/or regulatory requirements.

The owner will be informed of any deficiencies discovered during the survey of a vessel that requires repair, replacement or action and will be recorded on a survey activity report, a copy of which will be given the owner or owner's representative at the time of the survey.

We will remain impartial in all of our business dealings, and we will never conduct business in a manner which could place our business integrity or impartiality at risk or question.
