Periodic Vessel Survey
Have a Class 1, Class 2, Class 3, or Class 4 vessel that is due for its survey in accordance with its survey certificate(s)?A Periodic Survey of a Domestic Commercial vessel by Maritime Survey Australia includes:
- Safety equipment
- Machinery and Engineering
- Systems and Navigational Equipment
The survey is carried out accurately interpreting standards and guidelines, and applying rules and/or regulatory requirements.
The owner will be informed of any deficiencies discovered during the survey of a vessel that requires repair, replacement or action and will be recorded on a survey activity report, a copy of which will be given the owner or owner’s representative at the time of the survey.
All MSA Marine Surveyors and Naval Architects are AMSA Accredited and certified with the International Institute of Marine Surveyors (IIMS) or the Royal Institute of Naval Architects (RINA).
