Maritime Survey Australia recently completed the periodic survey of the stunning Electric powered Lady M for Melbourne Boat Hire at the Docklands in Melbourne. Formerly known as Restless Wind, the Lady M is a beautifully refitted U.S. Navy utility boat with a fascinating past. Built in 1988, she served for three years before being placed in storage for over two decades. After an extensive two-year refit in 2013 and again in 2021, the vessel was transformed with enhanced security, safety, and navigation capabilities to suit Melbourne’s waterways. Licensed for 48 Passengers and 2 Crew Members, Lady M is a Class 1E, GRP Vessel powered by a 20kW Electric motor.
