A Non-Survey Vessel is a Domestic Commercial Vessel that doesn’t require ongoingperiodic surveys under the Marine Safety (Domestic Commercial Vessel) National Law Act 2012. However, they are still Commercial Vessels and need to comply with safety standards and regulations. A Non-Survey vessel operates under the AMSA Exemption 02 and can only operate in D and E waters.
