Who pays for a marine survey?

Typically, the party responsible for the survey costs depends on the situation:

  • Pre-purchase surveys: The buyer usually pays for the survey to ensure the vessel’s condition and avoid unforeseen repairs. This may include the slipping of the vessel as well. Learn More
