Maritime Survey Australia completed the annual vessel audits of the Coastal & Marine Resources Core Lab Services.(CMOR) fleet KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology) in Thuwal Saudi Arabia last month.
The Coastal and Marine Resources Core Lab is a complete marine station located on the shores of the Red Sea. They specialise in marine and coastal field support, oceanographic instrumentation and engineering as well as indoor and outdoor research aquarium facilities. It operates a fleet of boats and Saudi Arabia’s first fully-equipped research vessel, the RV Thuwal.

King Abdullah University of Science and Technology is a private research university located in Thuwal, Saudi Arabia. Founded in 2009, the university provides research and graduate training programs in English as the official language of instruction. KAUST is the first mixed-gender university campus in Saudi Arabia.
MSA have been involved with KAUST since 2016 and provide marine surveying, naval architecture and consultation for the research vessels. Happy to be involved with the university that is delivering ground-breaking coastal and deep-sea survey operations as well as cutting edge laboratory facilities.
