Initial Survey of Polyethylene Boat (HDPE) Vessel built by Alumarine Boat Builders
MSA recently completed the initial survey of another polyethylene boat (HDPE) vessel built by Alumarine Boat Builders.
The vessel called Bluey is a 9m flat bottom workboat for an island off the Australian mainland. The HDPE hull does not suffer corrosion like an aluminium hull so is ideal for the island.
Alumarine have also built deep V HDPE monohulls. These are designed for more speed and include stepped hulls that provide amazing sea keeping characteristics — so that even novice operators can feel confident.
Well done to the team at Alumarine that continue to provide good quality vessels for the DCV industry.
